Bail review for Lowman

Colly Lowman will return to court on April 26, 2011, for bail review after being charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding David Williams.{{more}}

Lowman, 39, farmer of New Chapmans, Georgetown, appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Monday, April 18, charged with the shooting Williams on April 8, 2011, at Langley Park.

Williams, 45, a resident of Richmond Hill was shot in the neck while being robbed. He has since been treated and discharged from the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.Prosecutor, Adolphus Delpesche objected to Lowman’s bail on the grounds that he was of interest to the police in other matters and the gun used in the alleged offence was not recovered. Delpesche also contended that if Lowman was given bail that he would obstruct the police with their investigations. (KW)
