Alexander found guilty of manslaughter
Michael Alexander will be sentenced on March 15, 2011, for causing the death of Hughes âReddingsâ John on May 9, 2009.{{more}}
Alexander, a resident of Stubbs, was charged with murder, but was found guilty of manslaughter by a 12-member jury on Monday, February 28, 2011, at the High Courtâs Criminal Assizes.
Alexander and John had been involved in a dispute over a fowl, which resulted in a fight, during which John was struck in the face with a block. He died several days later at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
Alexander was represented in the matter by lawyer Grant Connell.
