Vincy woman in hot water in BVI
A Vincentian woman charged with grievous bodily harm in the British Virgin Islands has been granted bail in the sum of $3,000.{{more}}
Felisa Ballantyne, 27, is accused of dousing Paul âGadiethzâ Peart with hot water at his Fat Hogâs Bay apartment on February 10, 2011.
The BVIPLATINUM NEWS reports that Gadiethz, ZRODâs 103.7 FM DJ and host of the Morning Ride Show was briefly hospitalized following the incident.
The article also reported that Ballantyne was boiling water while Peart was sitting in a chair. According to information, Peartâs back was towards the woman when she came up to him and threw the scorching liquid on the DJ.
Ballantyne will return to court on March 2.
