Agassi Fraser murder case nears its end

Four more witness are expected to take the stand as the Preliminary Inquiry into the Agassi Fraser murder nears its end.

Eleven witnesses have already given testimony in the matter in which Fraser’s cousin, Odinga Foster, stands accused of causing his death.{{more}}

Some of those witnesses include the deceased boy’s brother, Cauldric Fraser; Shamika Chance, Agassi’s girlfriend; Surgical Pathologist, Dr Ronald Child, and prosecutor at the Serious Offences Court, Inspector Adolphus Delpesche.

A post mortem examination done by Child determined that the cause of Fraser’s death was multiple blunt force to the head.

Prosecutor Colin John informed the court on Wednesday that remaining witnesses were all police officers from the Criminal Investigations Department, and at the time they were on duty in Fitz Hughes, where a murder had taken place.

John also told Chief Magistrate Sonya Young that some of the exhibits will be sent overseas tomorrow, Saturday, February 26.

One of the four witness will give testimony today, Friday, while the remaining police officers will have their say on March 17, when the matter is scheduled to wrap up.

Fraser’s body was discovered on October 10, 2009, lying face down in the Arnos Vale river after he was reported missing two days earlier.

His disappearance was reported on Friday, October 9, the same day a $60,000 ransom was demanded.
