Fraserâs mother, Barbara Fraser, and prosecution witness, Brando Lockhart have so far taken the witness stand since the matter got underway on Thursday, February 17.
Fifteen witnesses are expected to give testimony in the matter. Fraserâs cousin, Odinga Foster, is charged with his murder.
As Fraserâs mother gave her testimony before Chief Magistrate Sonya Young in a packed courtroom, she broke into tears almost every time her sonâs name was mentioned.
Fraserâs body was found lying in the Arnos Vale river on Saturday, October 10, 2010. The 18-year-old went missing on the morning of Thursday, October 8, after he left home to visit his girlfriend, who lived a short distance away.
His disappearance was reported to the police on Friday, October 9. This was followed by a $60,000 ransom demand.
The matter resumes tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Serious Offences Court.
