Harry remanded for the murder of Samuel

Laymond Harry has been remanded into custody for the murder of Adrian Samuel of Lowmans Windward on Saturday, August 28, 2010.{{more}}

Harry, 30, of Lowmans Windward appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, August 31, and was not required to enter a plea.

Reports are that at about 5 a.m., Samuel, 54, farmer, was arguing with someone in a bar when another person came up behind him and stabbed him in his back.

Samuel was taken to the Mesopotamia Health Centre where he succumbed to his injuries.

The matter was adjourned to September 7 and transferred to the Serious Offences Court for hearing.
