Shepherd pleads guilty to cannabis possession
Lowmans resident Carlos Shepherd will have his day in Court on September 23, 2010 to answer a number of drug charges against him.{{more}}
Shepherd appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Monday, July 12, and pleaded guilty to possession of 1816 grams of cannabis and 458 grams of cannabis.
He also pleaded guilty to cultivating eight mature plants of cannabis and not guilty to possession of one rock of cocaine. The offences took place on July 9, 2010.
Chief Magistrate Sonya Young granted Shepherd bail in his own recognisance in the sum of $3,500. He was also ordered to report to the Questelles Police Station on Mondays and Fridays between the hours of 6a.m. and 6p.m.
When the matter resumes, the facts in his guilty pleas will be read out.
