Chief Magistrate Sonya Young last week found that there was sufficient evidence against both men to stand trial for the murder of Kommer “Crampy” Cyrus of Layou.

Cyrus, 25, died on the spot on August 28 after being attacked around 5:30 p.m. at Ras I’s Food Shop in the Leeward Bus Terminal.

Cyrus was struck in the head with a hammer, stabbed in the chest and left arm, and slashed across the abdomen.

12 witnesses gave testimony in the matter.(KW)
