Joseph pleads guilty to cannabis possession

Time is of the essence for Dickson Village resident Anthony Joseph.{{more}}

Joseph, who pleaded guilty on Monday at the Serious Offences Court to possession of 1,137 grams of cannabis plants, has four months in which to pay $2,000 or he will find himself behind bars for 10 months.

According to documents read in Court on January 11, members of the Narcotics squad saw Joseph traveling in a motor vehicle coming from the Bamboo range area on Sunday, January 10, 2010.

Police stopped the vehicle and a search carried out discovered one plastic bucket behind the driver’s seat, containing the illegal plants.

Arresting officer, PC 615 Williams, cautioned The 41-year-old mason and he replied: “Officer, ah mines…ah plant mi going plant them.”(KW)
