Steven Williams, a mini-bus conductor, and Orlando Joseph were placed on a one-year bond in the sum of $2,500 after pleading guilty to entering the house of Jefferson John to commit an offence of theft between August 11 and 13.

John, who lives in the United States of America, normally leaves Kendal Layne to oversee the house while he is away.

Layne went to the house on August 11 and made sure everything was in good order. When he returned on the 13, he noticed that the house was burglarised. Investigations carried out by police officers led to both men.

When the police picked up Joseph, he admitted that he stole a television from the house and took it back. While in court, his counterpart, Williams said he met the house open when he went there. “I been just meet the house open and me walk een,” he admitted.
