The Largo Heights woman had been charged with the possession of a .22 revolver, 85 rounds of .22 ammunition, two rounds of 7.62 ammunition, and 10 rounds of other ammunition. Her sonâs matter was, however, transferred to the Family Court for hearing. He was charged with possession of one .22 revolver and 10 rounds of ammunition.
Robertsâ attorney, Joseph Delves, indicated to the court that her client did not have a case to answer. He said that the evidence taken did not point to Roberts being in possession of the gun and ammunition, despite it being found in the house where she lived.
The charges stem from an October 15, 2007, incident when a .22 revolver was found at the Kingstown Government School, the school that Robertâs son attends.(KW)
