Trinidadian National fined $3000 for cannabis possession
On Tuesday, at the Serious Offences Court, Chief Magistrate Sonya Young fined Trinidadian National Rodrick George for possession and cultivation of cannabis.{{more}}
George pleaded guilty for having in his possession 1,589 grams of Cannabis in the Rose Hall mountain on Saturday, 29th November. Magistrate Young ordered him to pay $3,000 forthwith or spend the next year behind bars.
The 45-year-old was also fined $2,500 forthwith for cultivation of 50 Cannabis plants or spend one year imprisoned.
