‘Bondo’ walks free
Carlo âBondoâ Free walked away from the Serious Offences Court on Tuesday and left all his legal troubles there.{{more}}
Free, 28, a farmer of Sion Hill was discharged of five charges laid against him on January 18, 2008. The prosecution, led by Carl Williams submitted that he was discontinuing all matters laid against Free.
Free was arrested and charged with possession of an unlicensed 9mm firearm and 10 rounds of ammunition at the Victoria Park on Friday January 18. He was also charged with the use of threatening language to Police Corporal Vaughn Barker to wit: âYo stinking (expletive), all ah you ah go dead even if I go jail. Ah go call ah shot pon all yuh and I cud get five cell phone in prison and ah must kill one ah you policeman.â The second charge was the use of indecent language to Corporal Barker to wit: âBarker, charge yo stinking (expletive), go (expletive).â Free was again charged with threatening language to wit: âGonsalves go dead too, me ha (expletive) people who loyal to me and will do anything fuh me, ah head shot me ah deal wid.â
He was represented by lawyer Ronald Marks.
