Lotto booth robbed in G-town

Two men are now assisting police with their investigations into a daring robbery that took place on Monday this week at the Lotto booth in the Georgetown Mall.{{more}}

Police reports are that at approximately 8 p.m., Uackea Spring, cashier, of Spring Village, Georgetown, was about to close the booth when a masked man entered the business place. The robber was armed with an object and demanded the money from Spring. The assailant managed to flee the scene with $1,034.

Luckily, Spring was not hurt during the ordeal. To date no arrests have been made and Investigations are still ongoing.
