Petit Bordel man charged
A week after Terrence Matthews and his common law wife Clotilda Hooper were released on $45,000 bail on gun and ammunition charges, another man has been charged.{{more}}
Calroy Hooper, 20, of Petit Bordel was the latest to be charged in the matter where one Bruni model nine-millimeter pistol, seven rounds of nine-millimeter ammunition, and 25 rounds of 12-gauge shotgun cartridges and 8,888 (19 pounds) grams of cannabis were found during a joint raid at their home on June 17.
Hooper was released on $45,000 bail, and has to report to the Chateuabelair Police Station on Mondays and Fridays between 7am and 12 noon. Hooper was also ordered to surrender his travel documents.
The matter was adjourned to October 14 for trial.
