Charged with murder

Kamara Richards, a 24-year-old labourer, of Old Montrose, was arrested and charged with the murder of Shaun “Meagie” Williams on May 17, 2008.{{more}}

Richards was remanded to her Majesty’s Prison after he appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Thursday, May 22, to answer to the charge.

It is alleged that around midday, a man walked into “D-Stretch” Bar at Campden Park where Williams was, held him by his neck with one hand and pulled a gun from behind his back and shot Williams in his stomach. The matter was adjourned to August 6, 2008, for Preliminary Inquiry.
