Thomas, a resident of Georgetown, was committed last Friday by Chief Magistrate Sonya Young to stand trial in the High Court for causing the death of Shanika Roban, 16, of Chester Cottage on August 16 last year.
Roban was killed on the spot when a Nissan Terrano jeep, PB 794, driven by Thomas, slammed into the home of Cecil Alvis of Byera. Thomas and another occupant of the vehicle, Ricky Pinder, were badly injured as a result of the vehicle crash.
Lawyer Ronald Marks represented Thomas at the Preliminary Inquiry.
