Construction worker to pay $350 or six months in prison
Marlo Wilkinson, a construction worker of Campden Park, was ordered to pay a fine of $350 in one month or spend 6 months in prison.{{more}}
On Monday, Wilkinson pleaded guilty at the Kingstown Magistratesâ Court to having in his possession 16 grams of cannabis and a sum of $25 on Saturday, August 25.
According to reports, police officers were on duty when they met Wilkinson in the Campden Park area. They conducted a search and found the drugs in his back pocket.
When asked where he got the drugs, Wilkinson told the court that he purchased them from a resident in the area. The cash was also ordered to be forfeited.(SB)
