Alien remanded until interpreter present
Ramino Guante Campusano an unemployed man of the Dominican Republic has to wait until May 2, when an interpreter is present, for the start of a case against him.
Last Tuesday at the Magistrate’s Court No.1, Senior Magistrate Carl Joseph remanded the man, who is not versed in the English language, in custody.
Information reaching the court stated that he entered this country illegally on March 16 this year as a stowaway on a container ship. It was said that he has been living on the streets ever since.
