Bus driver charged for gun
Last Monday, a minibus driver of Byera pleaded not guilty for having in his possession one unlicensed .25 semi-automatic pistol.
Rudolph Lewis was arrested and charged on February 17, at Sandy Bay while driving a minibus. Reports state that about 10:45 p.m. members of the local drug squad were patrolling the area when a search was carried out on the van. A .25 semi automatic pistol was found under the handbrake located next to the gear box. The case against him was adjourned until March 3. He was denied bail and remanded to Prison.
