On December 26, Jeffery James succumbed to stab wounds to his chest and back.

A grief stricken Geoffery Matthews, father of the deceased said he was very saddened by the death of his son. “I don’t know what’s happening here,” Uttered Matthews.

Matthews who lives at Mt. Wynne said he was at home when the devastating news of his son’s death reached him. “I was doing my Christmas cleaning and tending to my bar at the same time” said Matthews. He also noted that when all the customers had already left around midnight he went inside to lie down.

“I fell asleep, and then after a while I hear a banging on the door and my relatives told me Jeffery dead, I went back and threw myself on the bed and cried,” Said Matthews.

“One thing I admired about him is that he was a very hardworking person,” He said. Matthews said he saw his son three weeks prior his death.
