Patricia Edwards and Nicall Ettienne were ordered to be deported by Magistrate Carl Joseph last Tuesday.
Both ladies arrived on the southern Grenadine Island of Union by boat on July 22, 2005, and were since housed at Villa.
They pleaded guilty to entering the country and disembarking without consent. For their actions, the ladies were to have been deported at the earliest convenience and kept in custody until that time.
Two other Spice Islanders: Inesha James, 19, and Jema Straker, 21, both domestics, were arrested and charged for possession of four bombs of cannabis. Their apprehension came at Arnos Vale last Sunday, August 7.
James and Starker pleaded guilty to the charges but the Vincentian court is awaiting the arrival of antecedents from Grenada before they are sentenced.
A number of Grenadians have surfaced on Vincentian soil since the passage of Hurricane Ivan last year. The figure included a number of fugitives from prison.
At least one of them, Sheldon Bain still remains at her Majesty’s Prison here awaiting preliminary investigations into three murder charges laid against him.
