Police make arrests around St. Vincent

Calvert Henry, a 24-year-old Peruvian Vale labourer was arrested and charged for having 49 grammes of cannabis at Yambou August 6, and Derrick Ryan a 25-year-old Calliaqua mason was held Sunday, August 7, for possession of two grammes of cocaine with intent to supply to another. {{more}}

In other Police action, Jamarley Cyrus, a 19-year-old Rose Place Fisherman was arrested and charged for having in his possession a .38 revolver for which he did not have a license, and five rounds of ammunition. His arrest came at Rose Place Thursday August 4 at 9:35 p.m.

Meanwhile, Erica Hadaway, a 32-year-old domestic of Lowmans Hill was arrested and charged for the theft of six gold rings, one silver, and one gold bracelet valued EC$2,025.

Hadaway was also accused of stealing US$300, and EC$45, belonging to Osbert Blugh of New Montrose. The offence was committed between 11 p.m., Friday August 5, and 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6.
