Man freed of murder charge

Allwill Franklyn is getting used to his new found freedom as he was acquitted of murder late last month. The twelve-member jury returned with a not guilty verdict after an hour and a half deliberation. {{more}}

Franklyn was charged for murder relating to an incident at Dickson between November 12 and 15, 2002, in which Pallinus Blucher died.

That was the second time that Franklyn was being tried following a hung jury in 2004.

This time for Franklyn there was no indecision and Justice Bruce-Lyle gave Franklyn his freedom orders.

Lawyer Ronald Marks represented Franklyn in the matter in which some 18 witnesses testified at the hearing.
