Man to pay for breaching bond

Osbert Watson of Kingstown was hauled off to Her Majesty’s Prison for three months last week after he breached a two-year bond and failed to pay a drug fine. {{more}}

Watson was arrested at Paul’s Avenue and charged for possessing two rocks of cocaine last week Monday. He pleaded guilty before the Kingstown Magistrate Court the following day and was fined $200 forthwith, with an alternative sentence of six weeks in prison.

During the hearing, it was discovered that he was placed on a two-year bond in the sum of $400 in September last year, with a penalty of three months imprisonment if he breached the bond.
