Three charged in Walvaroo murder

One week after thirty-five year old Casper Caine was gunned-down near his Walvarroo home, police have arrested and charged three persons for murder.

Shane Jack of Kingstown Park, George Smith and Jawanza Fraser of Paul’s Avenue were jointly charged Tuesday afternoon. They were expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court yesterday. {{more}}

Caine died hours after he was shot twice in the head last week Wednesday night.

Reports said that shortly after 7.00 p.m. a hail of gunfire came from a white Toyota Corolla which stopped in the public road above the Cable and Wireless compound. Caine fell in a drain as he was shot.

Caine is scheduled to be laid to rest this Sunday.
