The court heard that on August 17, Samuel was dismissed from his job at Allanâs Bakery at Campden Park; he accused his co-worker, Sam, of causing him to get fired. And that later, as Sam walked toward the road, he hurled stones at him.
The court also heard that on August 21, at about 6.55 a.m., when Sam showed up for work Samuel was at the gate and hurled a bottle at him, striking him on the right shoulder.
Sam sustained soft-tissue swelling, one inch in diameter, on two areas of his shoulder.
âI regard this attack on Peter Sam as very serious. It is not a one-off thingâ, Senior Magistrate Carl Joseph told Samuel. âYou want some time to cool out, you seeâ.
Samuel was sentenced to three months for each charge. The sentences, however, are to run concurrently.
