Specialist sanitizing services now being offered by Jaric

Health, safety and environment company, Jaric St Vincent Ltd, is offering a new specialist disinfection and sanitizing service which uses safe, environmentally-friendly chemicals.

Since the pandemic hit in early 2020, persons have been thrown into a regime of sanitizing and hand washing to kill the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

But while persons are embroiled in thinking about their immediate health, they may not be stopping to think about the long term.

However, for Jaric St Vincent Ltd or Jaric SVG, health, safety and the environment is what they are all about, with their slogan being “We make it easy for you to make it safe”.

For the six years since they have been established in SVG, the company has been providing training and consultancy in these areas. They have multiple programs such as training for defensive driving, road safety driving programs, first aid training, risk assessment training,
and were integral in the process of the Occupational Health and Safety(OSH) Act. Therefore, they also do OSH Administration training.

“Everything that Jaric does, it’s basically about the health, welfare of people. Safety is our biggest thing,” Shanelle Malcolm, the Business Services Associate at Jaric summarized.

Since their focus is on safety, they have also ventured into providing industrial chemicals that are safe: “chemicals for persons who have allergies for strong chemicals, persons who can’t use bleach, persons who have respiratory problems and can’t take strong scents,” as well as environmentally friendly, biodegradable, safe for anybody to use.

Following the recent spike in Covid-19 cases, the business took an executive decision to step in and as at today, January 15, will begin their new disinfection services.

Their process includes the use of an electrostatic sprayer, pump or battery sprayer with EPA registered disinfectants.

The sprayer shoots out a fine mist which reaches all surfaces in the building including the ceiling. Therefore, what wiping the surfaces cannot eliminate, the mist will.

The service also covers sanitising of high traffic areas such as light switches, handrails, door handles, phones, keyboards, and elevator buttons.

“Because we have a history in safety, we know how to go in to an infected area, we know the proper PPE(personal protective equipment) to wear, the proper techniques, what we need to do to make sure the persons who are going in would be safe and the persons who enter after we clean would be safe,” Malcolm assured.

They are also trained in HAZMAT (hazardous materials) “so if there’s a biological, chemical hazard we are trained how to go in and deal with that.”

Malcolm notes that Jaric is excited to help the State combat the Covid-19 virus that is tormenting the country at this time.

The cost of this service is 50 cents per square foot, and Jaric St Vincent Ltd also carries a whole range of pandemic related products, including antibacterial and antimicrobial hand soap, different brands of hand sanitizer, nitrile gloves, N95 masks, dust masks, different hand sanitizers, and dispensers.

Malcolm noted that the products they carry are concentrated so there is more value for money.

The company is very active on their Facebook platform(Jaric St Vincent Ltd), and may also be found on Instagram(@jaricsvg). They may be contacted via telephone, at 456-4008, or their cell, 534-2380, for which there is also Whatsapp. Finally, interested parties may also reach out to through email, at jaricstvincent@gmail.com.
