Girl Guides, Scouts playing their part

The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts is a progressive, non-political, non-profit voluntary world movement based on spiritual values, duty to one’s country and service to others. {{more}}There are over 10 million members in 144 countries and membership is open to girls and young women regardless of race, faith, nationality and personal circumstances.

The mission of the World Association is:

To enable girls and young women to achieve their fullest potential as responsible citizens of the world.

In St. Vincent and the Grenadines membership is just over 1200.
