These measures were emphasised last Monday when Clico opened its Vincentian headquarters.
According to Parris, âthe series will include workshops, conferences, and training activities related to international trade and financial services, which will assist the business community to better respond to challenges of a competitive and global environment,â
Those are some of the initiatives outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding with the University according to Parris.
And students can continue to take advantage of the Annual Clico Challenge scholarship. This has been going on for the past ten years, and it is aimed at enhancing educational opportunities of winners.
Additionally, Clico is working along with the Ministry of Education to host an annual Teachersâ Awards Programme which will highlight and showcase exemplary primary and secondary school teachers, as well as promote national recognition and respect for the teaching profession.â
