Man shot and killed at Fairbairn Pasture
Relatives of a Fairbairn Pasture man who was shot and killed in the wee hours of Thursday July 6 say there are many unanswered questions in relation to the death of their loved one.
Dead is 24-year-old Ravito “Bjay” Llewellyn.
Unconfirmed reports are that Llewellyn was an intruder at a house in Fairbairn Pasture when he was shot by a police officer.
When contacted on Sunday, a relative of the dead man said the family is at a loss as to what happened to Llewellyn.
A female relative told SEARCHLIGHT she identified Llewellyn’s body at the morgue and was only given vague information by the police as to how he died.
“We want to know what happened, we are looking for answers,” the relative said.
Another relative said that all questions should be asked through lawyer Jomo Thomas, but attempts to contact Thomas and the police at the time this article was published were futile.
Llewellyn’s death is the 27th homicide for 2023.
This is a developing story.
