Hyron Shallow smashed 145, comprising 14 fours and 4 sixes and Casmond Walters blasted 73, inclusive of 3 fours and 5 sixes, as Team Rivals amassed 321 for 8 in 45 overs against Providence Electronic Solutions North Leeward at the Cumberland Playing Field, when the new 50-over competition of the Premier Division of the national cricket programme bowled off last Sunday.
âTeam Rivalsâ innings was also propped up by 38 extras.
âBowling for North Leeward, Shammon Hooper had 2 for 45, Kevin Small, 2 for 46 and Donald Delpesche, 2 for 51.
âIn response, North Leeward were dismissed for 73, with Shammon Hooper top scoring with 28.
âOlanzo Jackson picked off 3 for 3, Rasheed Fredericks, 2 for 6 and Asif Hooper, 2 for 21, as Team Rivals bowled their way to an emphatic 246 runs triumph.
âAlso attaining victories were Police Two and FLOW Radcliffe.
âAt Arnos Vale One, Police Two beat Guardian General Saints by seven wickets.
âSaints scored 133 all out from 37.4 overs, with Jeremy Layne scoring 39.
âCasnel Morris was the chief destroyer of Saintsâ innings, taking 5 for 16.
âAndrew Thomas then smashed 71, as Police Two replied with 137 for 3 from 20 overs.
And, FLOW Radcliffe bettered Victors One by three wickets at the Sion Hill Playing Field.
Victors One got to 132 from 41.4 overs. Norlan Williams scored 34 and Alston Bobb, 30.
Othneil Lewis snared 3 for 19 and Tijourn Pope, 2 for 12.
Lindon James, scoring 30 not out and Deron Greaves, 29, pushed Radcliffe to 138 for 7.
