SVGFF makes it easy on U-11 football teams

The 15 units taking part in the Under-11 Division of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation’s National Club Championships have had their uniform needs met, thanks to the national parent body.

Costing in excess of EC$13 000, the uniforms, which comprise jerseys, shorts and socks, were handed over last Wednesday afternoon, to the units present at a ceremony held at the Federation’s conference room.

Those benefitting are Owia, Richland Park Pride and Joy, SV United, System Three, Awesome, Green Hill, Je Belle, K & R Strikers, Glenside, North Leeward, Layou, Volcanoes, Chelsea, Sparta FC and Avenues.

The Under-11 competition caters for players, both male and female, who were born 2007 and after.

Speaking prior to the handing over, president of the SVGFF Venold Coombs said the provision of the uniform kits to the teams is a manifestation of his organization’s commitment to develop the sport from the ground up.
