That game will be played at the renovated Arnos Vale Playing Field on June 24th.

Jack said that tickets are being sold at the office of the Association, opposite the Arnos Vale Methodist Church.

Jack encouraged Vincentians to purchase their tickets early, to get an opportunity to see the much talked about “mighty Australians”

“The government has already declared June 24th as a public holiday, so all Vincentians should use the opportunity to see a great match up between the Aussies, and the improving West Indies team,” Jack added.

In the month of June, the Association will embark on a series of awareness programmes to inform the public about the arrangements for the game.

This will include arrangements for security, parking, and traffic.

Jack said that while the Association will be using some of the procedures learnt during the World Cup games last year, everything will be done to ensure that patrons have easy access and exit at the Arnos Vale ground.

“We want you to come and enjoy the game in an atmosphere that is secure, while at the same time offering comfort and relaxation” Jack said.

The Australian and West Indies teams will arrive here on June 23rd for the start of the Digicel ODI series.
