Refreshing to see that integrity still trumps advertising dollars


Editor: The back page story entitled “Brewery contravenes ‘No bottle’ policy” in last week’s issue refers. Your publication must be commended for its unbiased reporting on an issue that posed grave danger to the public. Having witnessed the presence of senior representatives of the other two weeklies at the event as well as the editor of an online news website, I was shocked that such an important issue was not covered by them.{{more}}

It is not for me to surmise that some may have been afraid to bite the hand that feeds them, but clearly SEARCHLIGHT has proven that it brings news that I can trust.

It is refreshing to see that integrity still trumps advertising dollars.
