The expressions of gratitude from parents have encouraged the club to continue with this program.

The Cool Riderz Motorcycle Club looks forward to a continued healthy relationship with Berger Paints; the company has pledged to continue to work with the club in its community activities. Duguid has given notice that for the 2009 Back-to-School program, each school child in St. Vincent and the Grenadines will receive at least one Berger Paints exercise book. This will be in addition to the Cool Riderz package.

This is not be the first time that Berger Paints has participated in community activities. In Jamaica, the company sponsors hot meals to 120 students of a basic school in the Riverton district. Assistance was also given to repair the roof of one of the schools that was damaged during Hurricane Ivan. Warren McDonald, Managing Director and CEO of Berber Paints Jamaica Limited, in an interview with university students, stated “having a good relationship with the surrounding community is a very important part of running a successful business”.

Leroy “Fly” Edwards, Treasurer of the Cool Riderz Club, accepted the school supplies that were handed over during a brief ceremony. In attendance were the President Egerton Woods and Public Relations Officer Jacqueline King. The Club thanks Berger Paints Barbados Limited and looks forward to strengthening the relationship that has developed between the two entities.
