London appointed as Business Development Officer of SVGCC


The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Chamber of Industry and Commerce has appointed Shafia London as their Business Development Officer.{{more}}

The Chamber believes that with Miss London’s expertise and skills she will make a significant contribution to the Chamber’s overall plan to strengthen the capacity of the Chamber to provide the leadership and impetus to better serve its membership. In her capacity as Business Development Officer, London will manage the execution and promotion of business development initiatives.

According to the Chamber, London brings dynamism, a track record of accomplishment and new perspective to this Business Support Organization. She is a 2003 National Scholar with a Master’s Degree in Biochemical Engineering and a focus in Business Enterprise Development. London also holds a first class honors degree in Biochemistry with minors in Human Resource Management and Communications from the University of the West Indies. She recently worked as Business Enterprise Assistant Lecturer at the University College, London, UK, and has also worked in Quality Assurance and Product Development at the East Caribbean Group of Companies. Her objective in this role is to develop and implement business development strategies that seek to empower, promote and/ represent the private sector in every aspect of trade and industry.
