In the 2008 judging, the Barbados based agency was awarded 11 Gold and 10 Silver awards as well as the coveted Best of Show Print award.

This brings Red’s tally of exclusive ADDY awards to 37 Gold and 55 Silver, and 3 Bests of Show over the last 5 years, during which the agency has been either first or second in the Caribbean.

This year, Red won 11 awards for Virgin Atlantic (themselves winning the most gold awards of any client in the Caribbean)

Other awarded clients included Portico, a luxury condominium development, which won the coveted “Best of Show Print” award, Mount Gay Rum, Absolut Vodka, Ponche Kuba, Mix96fm, and Trident Insurance.

Red also demonstrated their versatility with awards in 11 out of the 15 entry categories including TV, Radio, Outdoor, Newspaper, Collateral, Direct Marketing, Interactive Media, Magazine, Sales Promotion, Elements of Advertising and Mixed Media Campaigns.

Jevan Jutagir, Managing Director at Red, commented at the awards,

“It is great to see that Red have once again confirmed their place as one of the top creative agencies in the Caribbean. We operate throughout the region and are increasingly looking to the OECS for future growth. To strengthen our commitment to these territories we also expect to open a new branch some time over the next year. Hence, we would love to hear from clients who are looking for the kind of strong work Red delivers, work which not only wins awards but, more importantly, wins business for our clients.”

Rachel Pilgrim, Marketing and Sales Manager at Virgin Atlantic, added to Jutagir’s comments,

“I would like to once again congratulate the team at Red for their excellent showing at this year’s ADDY awards and especially for their work on The Virgin Atlantic brand across the region. We are delighted to have been consistently awarded more gold awards than any other brand in the Caribbean.”
