Smith charged with having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor
Bernard Smith, a labourer of New Montrose ,will reappear in court on January 29, 2009, to answer to a rape charge.{{more}}
Smith appeared at the Kingstown Magistrateâs Court on Tuesday charged with having unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl above the age of 13 and under the age of 15 on December 25, 2008. He was remanded to Her Majestyâs Prison.
The matter was transferred to the Family Court for hearing.
